The Live Edge Feel
Live edge wood refers to lumber that preserves the tree’s original, natural edge just as it grew. These slabs feature organic grain patterns with bold lines, curves, knots, cracks, voids, and spalting formed naturally over time. These details allow our artisans to craft custom designed furniture where no two pieces will ever be alike, with each piece reflecting the unique character of the wood itself.
These same natural features also create an opportunity for customization. Cracks, voids, and openings in the slab can be intentionally filled and highlighted with epoxy, allowing clients to personalize their piece while enhancing both its visual impact and durability.
Epoxy
Epoxy is a resin based material used to fill, stabilize, and enhance natural wood features such as knots, cracks, voids, and spalting. It offers a wide range of design possibilities, from subtle, understated accents to bold, statement making designs. Epoxy can be poured as a solid opaque fill or tinted and translucent to allow light and depth to show through, and it can be finished in either a glossy or matte surface depending on the desired look. When used thoughtfully, epoxy works in harmony with the wood, adding strength, durability, and artistic expression without taking away from its natural beauty.

LED Lighting
LED lighting can be integrated with epoxy to create striking, illuminated pieces that truly stand out. When combined with translucent epoxy, embedded LED systems produce a soft glow or bold lighting effect that enhances the natural contours of the wood, adding a contemporary edge to its rustic character. These systems are controlled by a remote, allowing adjustments to color, brightness, and lighting sequences to suit the space or mood. The result is a custom piece that blends craftsmanship, atmosphere, and modern functionality.
